Aidewise free trial terms

Last updated 4 October 2026

About these terms

These terms are between IMI Limited (company number 3919362), trading as Aidewise, Glenwood, Timaru (“Aidewise”), and the school that signs up (“the School”). They cover the School's free trial of Aidewise, the online tool that helps schools timetable teacher aide support. They are short on purpose. If anything is unclear, email support@aidewise.co.nz.

1. The trial

  • The trial is free. It starts when the School signs up and ends at the end of the next full school term after sign-up.
  • Example: a school that signs up in Term 4 2026 can use Aidewise free until the end of Term 1 2027.
  • No card or payment details are needed.
  • The School gets every feature Aidewise has during the trial.
  • Either side can end the trial at any time by email. No reason is needed.

2. After the trial

  • The School does not have to continue. Nothing is charged automatically.
  • Founding school price: schools that join by the end of Term 1 2027 (first 50 schools) pay NZ$199 + GST for the first year, NZ$299 + GST for the second year, then the standard price (currently NZ$399 + GST a year).
  • If the School continues, the Aidewise School Agreement replaces these terms.
  • If the School does not continue, it can download its information first. Aidewise then deletes the School's information within 30 days. Backups roll off within 7 days after that.
  • The School can also delete its information itself at any time from the School page.

3. The School's information and checking timetables

  • The School owns its information. Aidewise only uses it to run the service for the School.
  • Enter only what is needed: first names or initials, and everyday words for support needs (for example reading, mobility, regulation). Do not enter diagnoses.
  • Each school sees only its own information.
  • Information is stored in Sydney, Australia (Supabase and Vercel). The timetable engine processes it briefly in the United States (Render) and keeps nothing there. Emails are sent through Japan (Resend). Full details are in the privacy policy.
  • If there is a data breach that affects the School, Aidewise will tell the School within 72 hours.
  • The School checks every timetable before using it. Aidewise makes a suggested timetable from the information the School enters. Decisions about learners, aides and staff stay with the School.

4. Feedback, liability and law

  • Feedback is welcome. Aidewise may use it to improve the service, without naming the School. Aidewise will only quote the School or use its name with written permission.
  • During the trial Aidewise is provided as is. Aidewise's total liability for the trial is limited to NZ$100.
  • New Zealand law applies. If there is a problem, contact support@aidewise.co.nz first and both sides will try to sort it out in good faith.

Agreeing to these terms

A staff member agrees to these terms for the School by ticking the box when they set up the School in Aidewise, and confirms they are able to agree for the School. Aidewise keeps a record of who agreed, when, and which version of these terms. No signature is needed.
